Falmouth Sea Front Around Falmouth

Falmouth is one of the major holiday destinations in the whole of the UK and the town and surrounding areas offer a wealth of top attractions to the visitor. Number Seven is just a few minutes walk from Falmouth town centre and there is a shuttle bus service taking guests into town and dropping off at the end of Clifton Place. Falmouth has a wide range of shops including several high street names together with numerous quirky independent shops. We also have many galleries featuring the work of local artists.

Superb Cuisine

Falmouth has some superb pubs and restaurants, many with spectacular views over the historic Falmouth Harbour. Fresh fish is landed locally every day so we have some terrific seafood restaurants including Rick Stein in Events Square all serving locally caught fish straight from the boat to the plate. In the Autumn, we have Falmouth Oyster Festival celebrating the start of the oyster dredging season. There are seafood demonstrations with plenty of opportunity to sample amazing local produce together with music, food and drink supplied by all the main Cornish Producers and a lively market showcasing all things from Cornwall.

Sports and Leisure

Number Seven is just a short walk away from Prince of Wales Pier where you can take boat trips to Flushing, St Mawes or out into Falmouth Bay. You can also cruise all the way up the River Fal to the county town of Truro. Falmouth is also a top location for watersports with everything from swimming, snorkelling and surfing on the beaches to sailing, water skiing and fishing in Falmouth Bay. We are also right on the South West Coast Path if you fancy a day out enjoying some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in the UK. The South West Coast Path stretches for 630 miles from Poole to Minehead.

Parks and Gardens

Number Seven is just five minutes walk away from the large and beautifully maintained Kimberley Park featuring a newly constructed childrens play area. There are a number of gardens within easy driving distance including Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick. There are also several National Trust properties including Trerice and Lanhydrock.
